This release introduces the following new functionality:

  • Added new widgets to enhance the reporting page with pie chart visualizations.

This release also addresses the following Bugs:

  • Fixed an issue where data was not visible without tags on the Asset page.
  • Resolved a problem allowing users to set invalid relative paths for backups and exports.
  • Corrected the datatable settings logic to prevent infinite save loops.
  • Addressed a failure preventing the Risk details page from loading when too many mitigations existed.
  • Eliminated deprecated notification logic that was triggering under certain configurations.
  • Fixed translation issues that were misaligning buttons in forms.
  • Corrected exported CSVs that occasionally included duplicated headers.
  • Fixed a bug preventing users from deleting uploaded documents in some modules.
  • Resolved improper validation behavior for date fields on the Risk page.
  • Fixed an issue where edits to user roles were not saving correctly.
  • Adjusted modal popup positioning to ensure proper centering on smaller screens.

Other Notes:

  • A user reported difficulty logging in with the default username admin and password admin. Investigation revealed that PHP was enforcing secure cookies, but the application was not using SSL, preventing session values from being set. If you encounter this issue, try installing an SSL certificate and running SimpleRisk over HTTPS to resolve it.
