SimpleRisk Core
The SimpleRisk 20221103-001 release is a minor hotfix release to patch some issues observed with the previous release. While most of these details were minor we did include fixes for issues regarding the Secure Controls Framework and updating those tables as well as fixes for the newly rolled out assessment permissions.
The following changes were made to improve the user experience:
- Updated the audit log to display changes to user type.
- Added the Control display back to the Test data submission page, you should now see the details of the control when entering audit test results.
- Removed the “+” on the risk submission page and you will now see all templates available across the top at all times when using customization.
- Updated the Dynamic Risk Report to support multiple categories being associated with a risk.
This release included fixes for the following bugs:
- Fixed an issue where filters could not sort by variables that display a string value in the Governance section
- Updated the Review Regularly page so it no longer sends a request on every interaction.
- Fixed an issue where the project filter on the Risk and Assets page did not work as intended.
- Fixed an issue where sending an assessment was generating an error in the log for depreciated value.
The SimpleRisk Extras are the paid for functionality that extend the features of the SimpleRisk Core. This release targets bugs that made it through the major updates to Import-Export as well as patching a bug and updating the Compliance Forge SCF extra.
The full list of updates to Extras are as follows:
Secure Controls Framework Extra
- Fixed issues stemming from different collation methods being used across tables in the SCF.
Risk Assessment Extra
- Fixed an issue where Assessment Contacts could not be sorted if Encryption was enabled.
- Updated the wording and appearance of the Assessment Scheduler.
- Updated Questionnaire Results to display 1 set of answers at a time and allows users to select and filter via company for contacts and display the results of those contacts.
- Fixed an issue where assessments with multiple tabs could not be saved unless all tabs had some information.
- Added granular permissions for Assessments.
Import/Export Extra
- Fixed an issue where importing assets was not updated to handle controls.
